A book of delicious easy to make Syrian meals, by Manal Gharzeddin. Manal lives in Sussex, and is very much part of the local communty. She often makes Syrian food at events we orgainse, which is always well recieved. She volunteers at Voices in Exclie, helping people who have come as refugees settle in the area. Manal is married to Alaa, from the music group Jamal and Alaa. We've been lucky enough to eat her food many times, and now you too can enjoy some of these recipes, whilst also supporting people in need of medical supplies in Manal's original town in Syria. "In Syria we love cooking and we love food! I have created this cook book because I want to share my favourite recipes from home with people in England. This cook book is not like others as all the Syrian recipes are easy to make at home with ingredients you can buy in your local supermarkets. It is available as a printed version for £10, including post and package (UK only, EU available soon) I want to give back to my country so any profits I make from the cook book will be sent to Syria to help people who can't afford to pay for medical treatment.
