Our first Maté Café since the break for summer, in the newly refurbished Cowley Club.
As always there was Maté tea and delicious Syrian. Todays menu included rice with vermicelli and roasted almonds, served with slow roasted vegetable tajine. After lunch there was some live music from Jamal and Jenny, it was nice to see people get up and dance. There was also kids painting sessions and the ever popular table football. It was also nice to see some new families join us today.
Its hard to believe but its a year since our first cafe, so the next one in October will be a special birthday celebration. Come and join us.
