The final Maté Café of 2019 was a great success. There was music from Jamal, Gaith and Mais. Mais sang 'Winter Wonderland' which was nice for the festive season. Gaith sang an Arabic song and Jamal accompanied both on percussion.
The delicious food was cooked by Saja. It must have been good as it completely sold out.
Big thanks to Steve from Refugee Radio, who came and ran a very colourful art and comic workshop, with kids making their own comic strips and paintings. It proved very popular.
Over all there wasa great atmosphere and it was a nice way to end the cafe's year. We'll be back in 2020, on Saturday January 12th.
