A panel discussion including those who have first-hand experience of forced migration and the asylum system themselves, rather than just experts talking about them on their behalf.
Many representations of forced migration, asylum and refugees do not feature the voices of those who have lived experience of being a refugee or asylum seeker. The panel included people from a variety of backgrounds who have lived through these experiences, telling their stories. At times deeply sad, but also sometimes uplifting and life affirming. Overall a very valuable event. Thanks to everyone involved.
