Kapil Seshasayee is a polymath, both as a songwriter and as a sound-smith, creating something wholly unique. Combining electronica flourishes evoking FKA Twigs with Indian Classical guitar ornamentations, stunning vocals and a penchant for unorthodox instrumentation such as the aquaphone, Kapil manages to be truly experimental yet still accessible.

Laila and I were lucky enough to meet Kapil at Solas Festival where he was performing in 2019. I'd not heard is music before, but was immediately transfixed and we ended up doing a gig in Brighton with him later that year. He also runs the website DesiFuturism
